Low Power Impact Mode records footage triggered by impacts only, allowing the dash cam to reduce power consumption and continue monitoring your vehicle for a longer duration.

Navigate the VIOFO app or camera menu:
Video Settings > Parking Recording > Parking Mode > Low Power Impact Detection
▪️ How Does It Work?
In this mode, your dash cam remains in a low power consumption standby mode (minimum: 0.24W/20mA power consumption at 12V) with impact detection always enabled. The moment an impact is detected, the device wakes up and begins recording within 2 seconds.
It then records a short video clip (1-3 minutes) of the event. If no further movement is detected, recording stops after one minute, and your device will intelligently switch back to its power-saving standby mode. If continuous movement or further impacts are detected, it extends the recording (maximum duration: 3 minutes) to ensure the full incident is captured. Afterward, the dash cam intelligently returns to its power-saving standby mode, ready for the next event.

Hybrid Parking Mode
